What's New at Tietronix

New Learning Technologies Conference - February 15-17, 2012 Orlando, Florida

Tietronix will present "Live! from NASA's International Space Station" at the New Learning Technologies Conference on Thursday, February 16.  This presentation will introduce participants to the ISS Live! website and mobile device apps. ISS Live! brings real-time data from the ISS to the public, teachers and students, and lifelong learners/explorers. Not only will the users interactively learn about one of the greatest, most complex engineering structures, they will also be able to access the data to use in developing apps and other tools. See how NASA is using new learning technologies to accomplish this exciting and innovative project.
 

MD&M Conference - March 14-15, 2012 in Fort Worth, Texas

Tietronix will showcase its technology at the MD&M show in Fort Worth, Texas from March 14-15, 2012.  Come visit Chris DuPont and William Buras at booth #349 to learn more about our products and services that are transforming concepts of the "User Interface" and accelerating medical device development.

GPU Technology Conference - May 14-17, 2012 in San Jose, California

Tietronix will be hosting a session titled “GPU-based Monte Carlo Ray Tracing Simulation for Solar Power Plants” at this year’s GPU Technology Conference.  The presentation will be given by Dr. Michel Izygon, an expert on concentrating solar power plants. Sit in to learn more about how Tietronix leverages Nvidia GPUs to create a custom ray tracing engine that simulates sun rays from their source, to mirrors, to a receiver on top of a tower, heating the fluid to temperatures higher than 1000°F.
